May Itinerary

To an extent, I worry about jinxing myself. I’m pretty happy with the outlook for May, so I hope that posting it won’t hurt it’s chances of coming to fruition. Let me or Josh know if there’s something you want to tag along on!

We finished training for our new jobs and finally started field work. This is the most meticulous ecological surveying that I’ve done and I left training with just about as many questions as answers. For that reason, our first couple of hitches (definition) are shorter so that we can hash out any hiccups with our teams along the way. This means that we will be working and camping for several consecutive days, which means we will also have longer chunks of time off in between. We are on different teams, so we won’t see each other during hitches, but we’ll come back with plenty to talk about. Josh will be finishing his semester of online coursework in mid-May, so he will finally be freed up to be dragged away from wifi access. (Can anyone say, backpacking!!!)
